Listening Posts

Elektron CD based listening posts can be found in many music stores, libraries, garage forecourts and other outlets throughout the UK and mainland Europe - and we have recently supplied a music store in New York.

All listening post models are designed to the same exacting standards combining:

All CD listening posts feature a high quality CD player and headphones, a light sensor to start/stop the music on lifting/replacing the headphones, a bright two-digit track display and track advance button. Six disc systems also have six illuminated disc select buttons. The CD players may be located up to 50 metres from the listening point.

Metalwork is mild steel, powder coated grey to RAL 7012; bases are textured black; faceplates and lower merchandising panels are brushed stainless steel. Special finishes are available in quantity.

Although the outward appearance of the posts has evolved from the original design, the CD player, electronic components and rugged professional quality headphones are now truly tried and tested.
